SCIE runs or works closely with a number of networks:
- All-Party Parliamentary Group on Social Care
SCIE provides secretariat support to this group of MPs and peers. Regular meetings take place in parliament to discuss issues that are key to social care. Guest speakers often make appearances. - Partners' Council
Significant and key stakeholders in social care working together. - Social Care Research Ethics Committee (SCREC)
The Social Care REC reviews adult social care research study proposals, and some proposals for social science studies situated in the NHS, from researchers based in England - Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) Lead National Network
Lead AMHP professionals set standards and ensure Local Authority responsibilities are met in the provision of AMHP services. - European Care Certificate (ECC)
The ECC provides employers with evidence that the holder of the Certificate has a basic knowledge of care sector work
