He talks again to the Improvement Team, then emails his further thoughts to Margit.
- Lean identifies activities that add value, and activities that are wasteful (because they duplicate others or cause delay).
- So it helps improve organisational processes (e.g. referral, assessment and care planning pathways).
- We can set the ‘value’ that we want to provide to people who use our services and to other stakeholders.
