In his previous role as social care manager, he had good relationships with health care staff and third sector organisations.
But now he’s going to be managing both health and social care professionals. And he’ll be contract manager for the third sector organisations.
I’m reasonably confident about managing the social care people. They are my team.
I’m less sure about the health care professionals. I get on with most of them as colleagues. But will they accept me as their manager?
