Practice development: collaborative working in social care

Evaluation is important in order to establish the success of the process and develop it for future use.

Evaluation should consider the following:

  1. The area for improvement – were desired outcomes achieved?
  2. The methodology – did it work well? Were changes in process needed?
  3. What do participants want to do to make good use of the improved knowledge base?
  4. Are there gaps in knowledge, training or resources? How can these be addressed?
