IMCA resource - who is providing IMCA training?

Details are provided here of courses to support IMCAs in their role. This includes those organisations providing the Independent Advocacy Qualification to advocates from different organisations. The dates for any IMCA units are also included where known. Please contact us to add or update any information.

The inclusion of courses here does not mean that SCIE is making a statement about their quality. Note the accreditation of the Independent Advocacy Qualification courses is the responsibility of City and Guilds.

British Institute of Learning Disabilities (BILD)

Website: British Institute of Learning Disabilities (BILD)

BILD is an approved centre to provide the advocacy qualification. One option is for advocacy organisations to become satellite centres. This allows organisation to provide the qualification in house with support from BILD.
