Mental Capacity Act 2005 training materials
The Department of Health, in partnership with the Welsh Assembly Government and the Social Care Institute for Excellence (SCIE), has published five sets of training materials to support the implementation of the Mental Capacity Act 2005. They have been produced by the University of Central Lancashire.
Each set comes in two versions that include hyperlinks to the Act, to the Code of Practice and to other key documents, case studies and exercises. The core set includes a PowerPoint presentation. The larger of the two files for each set features recordings of service users’ and carers quotations.
