Supporting teaching, training and learning
SCIE has an ongoing commitment to the support, development and practice of effective social care. By supporting social care training and learning SCIE aims to implement these messages at the earliest opportunity: at the very beginning of a career in social work.
Whether you are lecturing or studying at NVQ, degree or post-qualifying level in social work or social care, SCIE can help provide resources to aid your teaching, research, case studies or dissertation. Alternatively, SCIE can provide the platform to pinpoint further reading and multimedia resources for both students and teaching staff.
Social Care Online
Social Care Online is useful for anyone training in or learning about social care. It provides essential evidence for essays, dissertations and case studies.
Social Care Online is the UK’s most extensive free database of social care information. Updated daily and containing over 100,000 fully abstracted resources on all aspects of social care and with content spanning 20 years, it is an essential tool in helping you understand social care issues and how they have developed.
