Commissioning and participation
There is now a stronger case than ever before for local authorities to invest in and work with user-led organisations (ULOs). These are organisations that are run by and controlled by people who use support services. The participation of ULOs promotes giving people more choice and control over how their support needs are met. SCIE resources highlight the importance of ULOs in delivering the personalisation agenda.
