Equality & discrimination

The Equality Act 2010 replaces the previous anti-discrimination and equality laws within a single act. Its main aim is to strengthen the law to help tackle discrimination and inequality in both the workforce and within the provision of goods and services. The general duties apply across all public bodies and organisations carrying out public functions.
