Head of Research and Information (temporary maternity cover)

Could you lead SCIE’s research and information team?

The Social Care Institute for Excellence (SCIE) is a leading values-driven improvement agency. In recent years we have evolved from a largely government funded body to a fast-moving, high profile commercial organisation and thought leader.

We offer a wide range of tailored and flexible improvement support to national and local organisations across children’s and adults’ social care, and beyond. Having a strong basis in evidence and research is one of SCIE’s core values, both in terms of delivering stand-alone research and evaluation projects, or incorporating evidence-based approaches in to training, consultancy and improvement work.

We are seeking maternity cover for the post of Head of Research and Information. The post holder will lead and manage a growing team of social researchers and information specialists, as well as sitting on SCIE’s Senior Executive Team. The post holder will also have responsibility for leading SCIE’s portfolio in children’s services.

Salary £55,000-£60,000, depending on experience.

Fixed term for 10 months (maternity cover)
