Prevention service description
Call and Check was created as a two-fold response to the decline in postal services and the aging demographic of Jersey. The idea was conceived by a Jersey Post employee, Joe Dickinson, who realised that one service still had the ability to visit people’s homes every day – the postal service. He submitted the idea and worked with his employer to develop a proof of concept. This was then trialled and now is expanding internationally.
