Our CPD-accredited course is a comprehensive introduction to safeguarding adults. The training is essential for professionals working directly with adults within the care, health, voluntary and housing sectors and is designed to equip frontline staff with the necessary skills and knowledge to recognise concerns and respond to them appropriately.

Attendees will establish a good knowledge of their safeguarding duties and responsibilities. Participants will:
Frontline staff, team leaders and managers working for care and support providers. Also personal assistants, volunteers, advocates, helpline staff, GPs, health visitors, nurses, pharmacists and housing officers.
It is not designed for experienced safeguarding leads or local authority staff with additional safeguarding responsibilities.
The length of the training is one full day, however SCIE trainers can deliver it over two half-days to suit your organisation’s needs.
