Implementation

In looking at how the workbook was implemented across the three trusts, the review found that two of them operated a systematic programme of delivery, but one did not. Training was flexible and needs-focused and aimed at senior management and individual teams.

Frontline staff were encouraged to share their views and suggestions. At the strategic level there was evidence of the workbook being used as a foundation for the governance agenda.

There was enthusiastic support for the workbook to be transferable to multi-disciplinary care, where staff found it helpful in promoting cohesion.
