Free webinar: Named Social Worker project: 31 July 2018 Open
Organisation: Run by SCIE and Innovation Unit;
31 July 2018
Learning from the Named Social Worker project. The Department of Health and Social Care initiated the Named Social Worker programme in order to build an understanding of how having a named social worker can contribute to people with learning disabilities, autism or mental health needs achieving better outcomes; specifically that they and their family can be in control of decisions about their own future, and are supported to live with the dignity and independence which we all strive for. Following two successful phases with 9 local authority pilots, 25+ named social workers and over 200 people supported, this webinar will be an opportunity to hear about and discuss the project. https://www.scie.org.uk/social-work/named-social-worker
