This resource aims to improve the emotional wellbeing and mental health support for young people who cannot be looked after by their birth families. People who work with these young people, commissioners of care services and others working with children will find the resource informative and insightful. The aspiration is that in the future, these young people will have access to high-quality services, based on a needs-based model and new pathways.
