Achieving a good quality Serious Case Review process and report is challenging. As part of the Learning into Practice Project we developed a set of Quality Markers to support commissioners and reviewers to commission and conduct high quality reviews.
Covering the whole process, the 18 Quality Markers provide a consistent and robust approach to SCRs. They are based on established principles of effective reviews as well as SCR practice expertise, and ethical considerations.
