Good practice examples: Use of ICT in adult social care

Welcome to the SCIE Get Connected ICT Good Practice Examples. This is the first in a series of bi-monthly examples of the use of ICT in supporting personalisation and inclusion.

Call for evidence/good practice examples

Are you at the leading edge of improving ICT for people who use services and for staff? Are you pioneering the use of technology by users of your services or by their families and visitors? You might perhaps have an internet cafe in your service or be developing staff using e-resources, or using the internet for family photograph projects. 

As part of SCIE’s Get Connected project we are featuring Good Practice examples on our website in order to support the development of ICT to support high quality services and staff learning within adult social care.  We want to encourage and support the adult social care sector to share best practice in the use of ICT.  We will feature the Good Practice we identify, and make sure that we share and disseminate what we learn.
