About our commissioning guidance Open
As part of COVID-19: our action plan for adult social care, the Department for Health and Social Care (DHSC) commissioned SCIE to develop guidance to support good commissioning practice during the pandemic.
It has been developed through extensive engagement with national bodies, including the LGA, ADASS and Think Local Act Personal, and over 40 interviews with commissioners and providers from a broad range of organisations. It has also been informed by a survey of commissioners and people who use services and carers.
