These eco maps are representation of the choices that should be available to the young person and/or primary caregiver to access the right support and resources.

At the centre of the eco-map is the child or young person together with the primary caregiver(s) and the social worker/personal advisor
The middle ring of the eco-map is made up of the wider network of people supporting the child or young person and their primary caregiver. These will include:
- Independent reviewing officer
- Advocate
- VCS health professional
- CAMHS/ AMHS worker
- GP/ designated nurse
- Virtual school head teacher
- Teacher/ designated teacher
- Head teacher
- Independent visitor
- Community workers
- Friends
- Family
- Participation officer
- Commissioning officer
- Social worker team manager
The outer ring of the eco-map is made up of the people and bodies who oversee and ensure that there is accountability in the system. They include:
- Residential home
- Fostering agency
- Adoption agency
- CAMHS/ AMHS
- Virtual mental health lead
- LAC education team (LA)
- VCS therapeutic services
- VCS organisations
- Children in Care Council
- Children’s Services Commissioning Team
- Director of Children’s Services (DCS)
- Youth Justice System
- Youth support services
