This online course on legal literacy is aimed at professionals working in the field of Adult Social Care. It explores the various legal frameworks Involved in the process of safeguarding adults and aims to give participants deep insights that will encourage them to consider how the legislation applies in different scenarios.

- Identify and apply legal frameworks to decisions around safeguarding adults.
- Consider how legal frameworks are used to protect human rights.
- Consider how and when to use legal frameworks to intervene and protect adults at risk of or experiencing abuse and neglect.
- Recognise how legal frameworks and associated guidance would look, in real safeguarding practice scenarios.
