Using SCIE resources

SCIE Guide 28

Published April 2009

Developing the organisation is an ongoing process. Changing established behaviours and practices can be particularly challenging in social care because of the number of complex relationships that exist.

‘Using SCIE resources’ is a toolkit showing people how SCIE products can be disseminated by social care staff. It will then help them to develop and implement practice. The guide will be of particular interest to those with workforce or service development responsibilities. It will help them to spread key research messages and the ways they can help shape practice and services.

The guide provides a ready-made presentation template that can be customised for specific workplaces. It includes a user guide, Powerpoint presentation slides and notes on their use, plus also an example of a SCIE At a Glance summary.
