UK and international work

SCIE in England

We gather and analyse knowledge about what works and translate that knowledge into practical resources, learning materials and services. Our work helps to improve the knowledge and skills of those working in care services. This includes managers, frontline staff, commissioners and trainers. People who use services, and their families, also use our resources.

SCIE in Northern Ireland

We also share SCIE’s resources within Northern Ireland to inform practice and service developments. SCIE is undertaking projects to inform developments in social work and social care and we are making sure that a range of SCIE products reflect local legislation and policy context.
